# About Me

London-based independent music artist, poet, producer, Author, songwriter, voice actor, and spoken word performer with a distinctive style. My signature sound, which I call "Conscious Conversational Rap" (CCR), is heavily influenced by the golden era of hip-hop from the 1990s. Artists such as 2Pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Rakim, and The Lox have played a significant role in shaping my artistic direction. ## Overcoming Adversity

At the age of 23/24, I experienced a life-changing brain injury in 2002 that left me bedridden and paralysed. With the help of dedicated medical professionals, I spent six months in the hospital and another four in rehabilitation, relearning how to walk and rebuilding my life. It was a long journey from a wheelchair, to a walking frame, to walking unaided.

In 2005, I faced another challenge when a chest infection led to pneumonia and ultimately a pulmonary cardiac arrest. I was clinically dead for a few minutes, but the exceptional medical team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London brought me back to life. Afterward, I spent three months in a medically induced coma. These experiences have shaped me as an artist and inspired some of the songs on my Conscious Conversational Rap album.
